KLB Enterprise, LLC is a multifaceted business owned and operated by David doing business via two different divisions within KLB. The Concept Creation Division and the Consulting division.
Concept Creation division: KLB Enterprise Concept Creation division with David Bottomley brings over 40 years of product and merchandising knowledge. His multiple channel experience spans Food, Drug, Dollar, Big Box, Cruise Line, and Online formats. The product management includes Health & Beauty, General Merchandise, and Specialty Foods. This broad view offers all classes of trade and the distribution chain connections to create opportunity. The Concept Creation knowledge includes manufacturing, co-packing, private label, and national brand scope. KLB Enterprise Concept Creation has the vision to project brand expansion and pulse for optimal timing. David Bottomley connects companies and creates concepts to bring key items to market.
Consulting division: KLB Consulting division offers assistance with special projects and new business set up.
David retired end of 2022 as Non Foods Director for Winkler Wholesale INC, out of southern IN to 6 central states. David works with 4 buyers, over 15 vendors, to manage over 1,000 SKU’s. He developed the “in house’ program for Winkler, after his employer Grocers Supply was procured in 2016. David also built the “in house” Non Foods program for Grocers Supply in 2008.
Prior he was the founder and owner of HT Marketing, where he consulted and advised to companies in the Specialty Foods channel. For 8 years he worked with Panola Pepper in concept creation, Private Label and new item introductions to Target, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Amazon, and Coremark. David worked the Trade Show ECRM circuit and gained distribution in Grocers Supply, Winkler Wholesale and AWG.
Early in Mr. Bottomley’s career, he managed 3 states for 27 years for Mass Merchandisers / McKesson Service Merchandising, Millbrook, UNFI. He was the 1st Sales Supervisor promoted in Illinois, and the youngest Divisional Manager in the history of the company. David opened up Kentucky and Ohio for the company in direct selling and key account management. He managed multiple route sales and sales supervisors, to Independent and Chain Supermarkets.
Mr. Bottomley has a passion to connect companies, create concepts, and develop synergies for mutual growth and gain through relationships. He created klbenterprisellc.com in 2014 to begin network sharing and promote advisory capacity.
